Marinol, a Synthetic Version of THC and Smoked Marijuana Tested in Cancer Patients, Approved by FDA

Marinol, created by Unimed, is a synthetic form of THC used for nausea and vomiting in cancer patients being treated with chemotherapy.  It was also approved to treat anorexia associated with AIDS.
